    Mission
The mission of Manual Therapy by Emmanuelle is to help free people from chronic pain and conditions arising from body structural imbalance.

    About Visceral Manipulation Therapy
Visceral manipulation (VM) is a unique form of gentle manual therapy. It assists functional and structural imbalances throughout the body, including musculoskeletal, vascular, nervous, urogenital, respiratory, digestive, and lymphatic dysfunctions. VM evaluates and treats the dynamics of motion and suspension in relation to organs, membranes, fascia, and ligaments. VM increases proprioceptive communication within the body, thereby revitalizing a person and relieving symptoms of pain, dysfunction, and poor posture.

Visceral manipulation can be used for anyone, of any age and gender. It is a gentle therapy using hands-on manipulation over clothing. It aims at supporting healing from chronic pain associated or not to conditions such as acid reflux, postpartum incontinence, migraines, frozen shoulder, TOS, sudden joint arthritis, and many others.

    About Emmanuelle
It is Emmanuelle's belief that "it takes a village to raise a child" and this concept is also very true to help people heal from their pain and dysfunctions. In her opinion, a pluri-disciplinary approach, especially for chronic pain and conditions which do not resolve easily through standard protocol, is most beneficial as chronic pain is a complex phenomenon which tends to reside in more than one plane (physical, emotional, energetic etc.) For these reasons, she is very grateful and happy to partner with like-minded professionals such as Julie Moore from Windrose Acupuncture who also put peoples’ needs first and look at their dysfunctions with care and a custom approach.

Clients who suffer from chronic pain are often looking for something they haven't tried in order to find relief. Emmanuelle offers holistic therapy; she looks at the body as a whole and considers how different parts of the body affect others in her treatments. At the end of a session, her clients often express surprise after they receive more information on how their bodies work and realize the connection between the "content" and the "container." For example, clients coming in with back pain may be surprised when she doesn't touch their back but works instead on their abdomen.

If traditional treatment and massages aren't helping, fight chronic pain and contact Emmanuelle today for an assessment and evaluation and to discuss how manual therapy and visceral manipulation can help you. www.therapy4wellness.com  Follow her on Facebook at: Manual Therapy by Emmanuelle
